Liquid Perm Syndrom
I went to a salon for a press and curl. I have thick course hair and have been chemical free for 3 years. The hairdresser said that she could put a hair softner in it that would make it easier to comb. I questioned her about it. She said that it was not a chemical process but that it was a little stronger than a shampoo and could still be pressed and blow dryed. I trusted her judgement thinking I was not getting any type of chemical alterations. Later after research and questioning several people about hair softner they said that she probably used a liquid relaxer called Vigorol. I called the hairdresser back and asked her what brand softner she used she replied a product called Vigorol. I then told her that Vigorol did not make a chemical free hair softner and that it was a liquid relaxer. I would like to know if there is any type of actions that can be taken against providing clients with false information.
