TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that MR J.C.D'WITT has worked under
me on Haron Estate, Linggi Plantations Limited, for the past
twelve months, as Conductor. The Labour Force on this Division
is an exceptionally difficult one to contend with, but he has, to
my personal knowledge, carried out his duties through the tenure
of his service, creditably and well. He has a thorough knowledge
of Tapping, and all works pertaining to the Field, and in Office,
he is always useful. He speaks Tamil fluently, and is most re-
liable in handling the Tamil Labour Force.

I have no hesitation in recommending him to any person
wanting the services of an intelligent, sober, pains-taking and
honest young man.
