-Parents and Phones-
Parents and Phones,
One is your enemy the other is your friend.
One will always be loud,
The other makes noises with no end.
One will always bug you,
And with the other you will talk.
But from both you cannot hide,
Like a mouse and a hawk.
Both create problems,
And both try to fix them.
But when you try to work it out,
But hey!? Another problem.
One you are with all day,
The other not far behind.
When You try talk,
With whom do you have in mind?
You shall talk with both,
With no rhyme or reason.
Both you cannot hide from,
Like the passing of a season.
They will always be there,
But when you turn around.
One is going to be there,
The other no where to be found.
But when you need to talk,
The phone will only ring.
And the parents? They're at work,
Doing some adult thing.
So what's the difference,
Between Parents and Phones?
You describe them both the same,
They send chills through your bones.
The difference is only this,
From one you get siblings.
And what!? Oh,
The other just sits there and rings!!
