The Scissor Man
Claude, the Scissor Man, is based in New Mexico & Oregon. We sharpen shears in various cities across the West. Please check our schedule below and make a service request if you have shears which need sharpening.
All shears are sharpened by hand, right in your store. No machine grinding is used. Only diamond hones and natural Arkansas stone is used to remove nicks and re-sharpen the edge. A razor strop is then used to remove burrs and fine hone the edge. With proper care and regular sharpenings, shears will last upwards of fifteen to twenty years.
