Stars shining against the darkening night
like pinpricks poking out with their light.
Making patterns we see as constellations
giving life to their gyrations.
The wonderment we see when looking at the sky
fills us with humility, letting us fly.
To imagine life existing near a different star
shows how insignificant we really are.
Just a drop of sand in an hourglass,
one among the many in which we pass.
Various worlds where beings may exist
are too many to try to list.
