I write this poem because I want you to see
That your love means everything to me
So for your birthday I want to make it just right
Your morning, afternoon, and especially your night.
On this special day I'll also share
Unending love to show how much I care.
Replacing the life you used to live
Because you have the right to receive as much as you give.
I intend to make this happen for you
Regardless of you saying that I don't need to.
The love we have for each other
Helps to keep me going until we can be together.
During the past year my life has changed a bit
All because you have been a part of it.
