Militia features a big and luxurious house, placed in a rocky environment. There's plenty of cover for both sides, with crates and rocks positioned strategically over the map. The Terrorists hold four innocent people hostage inside the villa and it's up to the Counter-Terrorists to rescue them, while taking the bad guys out. Militia offers a great diversity of playing styles: either you choose for the vicious close quarters battles inside the tunnels and building itself, or you choose the strategic sniping game outside of the mansion. One thing is for sure, though: whatever you choose, you'll need to use your wits to do well on such a varied map as Militia.

For a terrorist you have one of four options at the start of each round. Either camp, go the option a way, option b way or option c way (it is a good idea to divide up the team evenly into small units and send them a different way to cover all of the other teams options)

For Counter-Terrorists the choice is of equal difficulty due to both having the same amount to choose form. They can either go point H way or point I way. Then there are many decisions to be made.

Point A:

This is the quickest way to the market (a battle hot spot) and when you reach the end of the tunnel you will be at option D where you will be faced with a decision to go left or right.

Point B:

This is another option terrorists have at the start of the round. Going this way means you will engage the enemy inside the building which is close quarters so have either an Mp5 or AK handy (or if you have the cash to spare indulge in a nice Para and spray and pray)
You should flash before you enter to blind your enemy.

Point C:

This is the third way a terrorist could go at the start of the round. Once you get to point C you will have to decide to go 1 of three ways:
1- Onto point G
2- Onto the market
3- Through the cellars

Point D:

When you reach this point make sure you have at least one team mate with you, both of youse going one direction each. You should both throw a flash bang before entering the markets, then when they have exploded go in and pick of the blinded opponent. Point D is also a very good sniping spot for CTs to snipe into the Ts spawn.

Point E:

Prepare for some close quarter battles in this area. Stack up on a machine gun or sub machine gun (preferably mp5), a HE and a flashbang. Before you enter HE the room, flash it then you should rush in while the opponent is still blinded

Point F:

The market. The area where the most heart pounding battles take place. Can be either close or medium quarter battles so be prepared with a sub machine gun such as the mp5. Refer to Point D on how to enter the market.

Point G:

This spot always makes for good battles because of all the different little areas. On the roof, on the bridge, coming from CT spawn or coming out of the cellars. For Terrorists the AK or mp5 is a good gun for this area and for the CTs the Colt or mp5 are good guns. CTs should always flash before going into this area due to all the angles terrorist have to come by.

Point H:

One of the choices for a CT at the start of a round. If you are a CT and you are going this way prepare yourself with a flashbang and either a colt or mp5. Then flash and rush.  If you are a T coming from point G to Point H always strafe left and right because there is bound to be a CT sniper at B4 or B5

Point I:

This is another one of the choices for a CT at the start of a round. If you are a CT and you are going this way prepare yourself with a flashbang and either a colt or mp5. Then flash the market and rush in. If you are a T coming from point J to Point I always strafe left and right because there is bound to be a CT sniper at B4 or B5

Point J:

When a CT reaches point j he has to decide wether to go inside the building (via the boxes) or into the market. No matter which way you go you should have an mp5 or colt and a flash bang and as usual flash and enter. If you are a T at point J always be careful of CT snipers at point B4 and B5. So flash before you go.

Terrorist Strategy:

Divide your teams up into 4 even squadrons. Have one squadron armed with a sub machine gun protect the hostages (have them situated at A1, A3 and A5), another group into the building armed with flash bangs, HEs and either Para, mp5 or AK. HE the house, flash it, then enter and spray and pray. Another squad should go Point A way and head towards the market armed with flashbangs and mp5s. Flash the market then enter and pick of the blinded enemy. The last group should go into the cellars and onto point G armed with either AKs or mp5s and flashbangs. The Terrorists should rendezvous at CT spawn and backtrack their steps to pick of any CTs still alive.

Tip:
- Always use radio signals to let your team-mates know you have cleared your designated area.

Counter-Terrorists Strategy:

Divide your teams up into 3 squadrons and have to men situated at B4 (one armed with a sniper rifle and one armed with either a Colt or mp3 to protect the sniper). The first group should go through to Point J and into the building armed with flash bangs, HEs and either Para, mp5 or Colt. HE the house, flash it, then enter and spray and pray. Another squad should go Point J way and head towards the market armed with flashbangs and mp5s. Flash the market then enter and pick of the blinded enemy. Once the market has cleared whats left of the squad should split up and half of it goes on through to point A the other half should go on through to Point C. The last group should go onto point G armed with either Colts or mp5s and flashbangs. The CTs should rendezvous at the T spawn and backtrack their steps to pick of any Ts still alive.

Tip:
- Always use radio signals to let your team-mates know you have cleared your designated area.
