The sky shall unfold........

Preparing His entrance......

The star shall applaud Him....

With thunders of praise.......

The sweet light in His eyes shall..

Enhance those awaiting.......

My Daily Prayer

Dear God, as I begin this day,

Please help me turn my thoughts to you,

And pray for your help in guiding me,

In everything I think, I say, and I do.

Please grant me the patience that I need,

To keep my peace of mind,

And with life's cares I hope, Dear Father,

Some happiness to find.

Help me to live but for today,

Not worrying what's ahead,

For I have trust that you will see

I receive my daily bread.

And if some wish I do not get,

Although I have prayed to Thee,

Help me to believe and understand,

You know what's best for me.

I've failed you many times, I know,

But when tonight I rest,

I hope that I can kneel and say,

Today, Dear God, I tried my best.

Face to face I shall behold Him,

Far beyond the stary sky.

Face to face in all His glory,

I shall see Him by and by.

A Lost Friend

Today I lost a friend of mine,

I know not where she went ,

She'll never come this way again,

Her time on earth is spent .

I watched her as she journeyed on,

With labored steps and sighs,

Rejoicing as she turned to say,

Her final heard good-byes .

Don't cry for me my loved ones,

Don't linger by my grave,

Remember me with laughter,

And the memories I gave.

Remember I am watching you,

From heaven's golden shore,

Where I will live in peace and joy,

Happy, forever more.
