Songs Of The Angels
This page is comprised
of poems I have written
for some dear
friends of mine. I hope
you enjoy them, but I
ask that you not to
take them without
my permission.

ON ANGEL WINGS
Written for my dear friend, Terry
I drifted off to slumber,
I couldn't stay awake.
And as I drifted further,
I saw a lovely face.
Her Voice was soft and gentle,
Her hair a golden sheen.
Was I awake and talking,
Or is this all a dream?
The angel gently rocked me,
I heard the rush of her wings.
As one and one thousand
more angels, All began to sing.
The song was soft and gentle,
And a melody sweet and fine.
But some one sent me
back to you,
For the time was not yet mine.

The Final Farewell
written for my special friend
Roy Dale (Buck) Wrightham
My friend went on a journey,
That carried him through
outer-space.
He needed no spaceship,
jet or plane,
His pilot was one Great Ace.
He lived life to the fullest,
Never once did he complain.
That God had been unfair to him,
Or caused him to much pain.
He always had a kind word,
He never put folks down.
Instead he told them of heaven,
And a jewel-filled golden crown.
His race on earth has ended,
He's finished his final race.
He has gone to be with
his Savior,
In a glorious, wonderful place.
My friend was very special,
My friend was very dear.
And though he had to leave us,
In our hearts he'll always
be near.
So I must say good-bye for now,
To my friend with a heart
of gold,
Mr. Buck you were loved and
will be missed,
By both the young and the old.

Time For A
Friend
Thanks Lena, If it hadn't been
for you that night coming on
line just at the right time
our friend Terry would have
died. Thank you so much
for caring enough to take
"Time For A Friend."
I messaged you to say hello,
To let you know I care.
I did it to because there was,
An eeriness in the air.
A feeling deep with-in my soul,
That wouldn't let me go.
A growing fear within me,
As cold as winter's snow.
The more we talked it hit me,
That something wasn't right.
I wasn't sure just what it was,
But fear made my stomach tight.
In desparation I made a call,
And bowed my head to pray.
Dear God, whatever's wrong,
Please, let him be ok.
Then on she came it seemed to me,
With an Angel's message to send.
I'm glad you cared enough to take the time,
To spend with me my friend.

I hope you enjoyed
going through this page.
Feel free to pass it
along to all your friends.
When you have a friend
in need, and you think
it is a hoax, by all
means take them
seriously. If it hadn't
been for my friend Lena,
I would have lost a
dear friend one night.
From the bottom of my
heart Lena, THANK YOU!
"Make new friends, but keep the
old. One is silver and the others
gold!"
