What can I bring him.

The shepherds that night

Brought him a lamb.

Out on the fields

that dark cold night,

When out of the heavens

there came a bright light.

What can I bring Him

Small as I am?

The men from the east,

brought him gifts from afar.

A little boy

a lot like me,

Brought his drum

to play a sweet melody.

What can I bring him,

Small as I am?

I'm only a child,

With nothing to bring.

I thought and I thought,

In total dispair.

Then it dawned on me

My gift was right there.

I had not a lamb.

No gifts from afar.
