I have always lived in Pope County. I attended and graduated from
Pope County schools. I then attended SIC at Harrisburg, IL
for two years and graduated with an Associate in Arts degree.
After SIC I went to Murray State University in Murray, KY
and graduated from MSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary
Education. I have continued my education by attending SIUC.
This is my 27th year of teaching Pope County students.
I am married to Charles, my husband
of 20 years. We have two sons. Karl
is a graduate of SIUC. He married Lisa in May.
Nathaniel graduated from Pope County High School
in May, 2007. He is attending SIC in Harrisburg.
I have three brothers who all live in Pope
County with their families. My father lives
in the county. My mother passed away in 2001.
She taught in Pope County schools for 22 years.
I enjoy taking pictures with my camera.
I love to travel. I love to read.
I love spending time with my family.
