Dear Fellow Classmates,
Has it been 20 years? Since graduation, I have lived in Northeastern Colorado and have learned the ropes of the farming and ranching way of life so fimiliar to all of us who grew up out here on the plains! In 1982, I got married and sure learned about cows and horses real quick! For the past 18 years I spent a lot of time around the "cowboy" way of life. For most of you that have seen me, I was usually working at the vet clinic or moving cattle down some dirt road, or calving out cows and haying. For 11 years Don and I were employed at the Bamford Feedyard in Haxtun. In 1988 our son Shane was born and I took on yet another role in life. It has been an experience! Along our travels, Don and I started raising registered Paint Horses, thanks to a wonderful stud we purchased in 1988. We raised, trained, broke, and sold our own plus some that we aquired here and there. I love the horses! In 1998, Don and I divorced and Shane and I move to Sterling. I still have a couple of horses that we ride and raise colts out of. I have been accepted to N.J.C. this fall and will be pursuing a degree in the medical business industry. Although a little heavier, my stupid humor is still the same and I just love to give everyone #*@#! Anyway, I hope to see everyone at the reunion and look forward to meeting your families too. Take care and may all the hapiness life has to offer come your way!
