These songs were recorded on a tape machine and then onto the computer. They aren't "pro" recordings, so don't expect really "clear" quality on your computer, there's good quality on my tape machine though...heh heh heh...suckers! We were playing for 3 hours straight. Trust me. Our feet fell asleep. They were recorded on Thursday, January 1, 2004.
Andre
- A song written
by Shannyn (me) after a trip to Silver City to see "Something's Gotta
Give", and the ticket guy said "hi" to me but no one else
I was with when he took my ticket. As you guessed it, his name was
Andre, and he was really nice. Lead vocals are done by K.D., there are 2 guitars in it done by K.D. and I, and in the chorus I am also allowed to sing. During the last chorus, if you listen, the 2 of us go into a perfect harmony.
Walkin' Down Third Avenue - This song was written by Shannyn (me) about how boring it is in the area of town where we live when you've lived there all your life, or at least most of it. K.D. and I hung out all last summer seeing as we live across the park from eachother, and this song, the lyrics, tells what we did during the summer. No lie. We even went on missions, wrote songs about skinny skaters, make fun of poser punks, ate frozen cake at the corner of a bunch of streets in front of the church and almost got sick, and went for walks down Third Avenue laughing about and so on...so that's where this song is coming from. It's a cute little song we sing about our summer. This song is also sung by K.D. with no vocals by me, that I can remember, there are 2 guitars (the both of us always play I think you get the hint by now), and there's mention of a guy named Tommy in it.
We have a heck of alot more songs written and recorded, but why give them on the internet? If you want them tell us yourselves.
