How do I contact you to inquire about work?
Just send (email) a detailed message describing what type of artwork
you would be interested in having done. I will reply as soon as possible.
Please Note: At this time, I will only accept decorative painting projects locally(lower Hudson Valley area).

Generally, what are your rates?
This depends on the type of project, size, complexity of the design and supplies needed, etc.
Once I know exactly what this is we could set up an free initial consultation for an estimate.

What is a free initial consultation?
We will discuss ideas about the project including content, style, location, size, etc.

What happens after the initial consultation?
You will be given a proposal which includes
a description of the project, sketch(es) and the estimated cost.
If an agreement is reached 50% of the total fee is due prior to the start of the project. 
Upon completion the remaining balance of 50% of the total cost is due.
The first revision is free of charge, there will be a small fee for each revision thereafter.
You will then receive an invoice.

What about a Graphic Design project?
You receive a free initial consultation. The same terms apply (see above response) for Graphic Design projects
The finished project can either be mailed by package or electronically mailed (email, fax) if the project permits. 
To avoid extra printing costs, if the project permits, you have the option to receive a design which is ready for production
(on disk or hard copy or email) which you can print yourself or bring to a print shop. 
I can also have the project printed up for you for an extra fee which will also include shipping charges.

What about basic web design?
The basic package includes consultation, design layout and uploading completed pages to server.
(Standard HTML only. No interactive forms, shopping cart, cgi, Javascript, etc. will be included.) 
I will create and design one home page and up to two basic secondary pages to your 
specifications using graphics(up to ten images) for the site's appearance, navigation, header and background.
Additional pages, site maintenance and revisions will cost extra. 

Which mediums are used in painting?
I usually always work with non-toxic water-based acrylic paints or watercolor depending on the project.


What about portraits?
It will be painted from a favorite photograph.
 Each subject in the portrait will cost extra. You may choose from two canvas sizes. 
You may also commission a decorative painting on canvas.
