Franz Schubert - List of Works

In 1950, Otto Erich Deutsch published his Schubert - Thematic Catalogue of all his Works in Chronological Order. This directory was the fruit of an over 50 year long interest in Schubert. Deutsch wrote the first of his over 150 articles and books about Schubert in 1905.

The Deutsch (D) numbers have become a standard method for identifying Schubert's works.

In the event that you want more detailed information about Schubert's works, please consult a copy of the Deutsch's book in a local library. Obviously we cannot offer all of the information contained in its more than 550 pages.
