These definitions pertain to notations on sheet music and how the music is supposed to be played

Piano:
to play softly.


Pianissimo:
to play very sofly.


Ritard:
to gradually play slower.


Staccato:
to play the notes shortened and separated.


Trill:
to rapidly alternate the principal note with a note 1/2 or 1 whole step higher.
