| ~Report By SW~ Hey look Bobby! The new Aol 8.0 is out! It sure looks cool. Sure does Jim. But you know what? What? It takes a whole lot of crap to get working for me. How about you? Fine for me? Hmm...whats your problem?................ My System: Amd Duron 850 MHZ Windows XP Home Edition When i downloaded the update for my AOL 8.0 (download takes forever) i was so happy. But after installation it was a total nightmare! I wasted 3 days going through 13 of AOL Tech people and which none of them had the right solution. Which really made me mad. So i asked why in the crap monkey is it not working! They say a file is corrupted. SO RE-DOWNLOAD IT! Im like NO! (it takes forever) So i did redwonload it. The file is still corrupted! This is my recommendation, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE. Get the AOL 8.0 CD from a local store near you when it comes out. Finally got my Cd! I installed AOL 8.0. But guess what? Same Problem! AOL wont load. I click the AOL icon, it says Starting Aol. Then closes. So i go back to online live help talk to about 7 more, no solution. So im up to 2 am one night, i decide to call Aol. They answer and we finally get it fixed! Horray!! This may not hapen to you, but nightmare if happends! Anyway, AOL 8.0 is a WHOLE lot better than 6.0 Features....Connection..Stablility...and more is way better! AOL 8.0 Features: 5.0!!!~ Awsome features none can beat. They are the king of it! Support: 4.0!~ Great support online but took awile to solve. Call At Night Connection: 3.0~ Signs on better than 6.0 , Disconects every so often Speed: 3.0!~ What more you except from dial up?? Its ok Interface: 5.0!!!~ Awsome interface, pretty blue and purple'ish color. Is It Worth Around $21.95?~ No,i think its overpriced. But kinda worth it.Maybe like $15.00 Would you recommend it against other dial-ups?~ Yes Would you recommend it against High Speed Internet?~ NO!!!!!!!!!!! Conclusion~Save your money for DSL,CABLE! |
