If you are a veteran, relative of a veteran, or just someone who has an interest in this amazing event, we would love to hear from you. The objectives of this are to expand this site as a tribute to those involved. Also to work toward setting up a museum display and producing a historic guide covering the subject in a broader way, rather than an account of a historical sequence of events.
To this end we would be interested in acquiring absolutely anything at all to aid in our personal study. Information, items, photo's, personal groups, accounts relating to the town, bridge, the taking and use of the bridge, its collapse, units that passed over or through the area and the subsequent pontoon bridges. Anything from either the U.S. or German perspective would be appreciated.
