Read by Vice President Gary Tansley. Acceptance moved J Nolan, Seconded A Kerr. Carried.

 

Business Arising from Minutes of Previous Meeting

Letter to be sent to Tamworth club in respect to their closedown, which had been overlooked.

 

Correspondence In

Reply from Narromine Club in respect to numbers for presentation dinner at State Championships.   Moved G Tansley seconded A Kerr that the outstanding amount of the account $796 from the Narromine Club be paid. Seconded A Kerr. Carried.

 

Result of telephone vote 5/2001 from MAAA.

Andy Kerr is considering the result of the postal vote 5/2001 referred to in correspondence and may make a submission at the next meeting.

 

John Elias raised the subject of the State Championships for 2002.  General discussion ensued in respect to date and venue.  John to approach Army at Holdsworthy re the possible use of a suitable site as he has a post association with the place.

 

Reg Towell moved that a donation of $200 be made to the Narromine Club as an expression of gratitude for the work done at State Championships.  Seconded John Nolan. Carried.

 

Brian Eather drew the attention of the meeting to an article published in the last edition of Stunt News relating to a brief overview of the stunt scene in Australia.  Also mentioned the Victorian State Championships for next year.

 

John McIntyre advised the meeting that Joan McIntyre had been approached by organisers of the next National Championships to provide the names of potential F2B judges because they said they did not have any and the matter was being tabled at CLAS because she would not take on the matter on a personal basis.  General discussion ensued and it was decided that she provide the names of herself and Len Surtees.  She had already established that Len Surtees would be available and she also was available.
