I Profanity sono un trio tedesco che
suona un brutal death metal molto tecnico e vario, ricco di cambi
di tempo e buone idee. I brani sono molto potenti e fantasiosi e
svelano un ottimo livello tecnico e la ricerca di nuove soluzioni
senza allontanarsi dal death metal. Uno dei migliori pregi di
questo disco è la forte presenza di melodia, che non è mai
soffocata da violenza asfittica, ma spesso emerge in modo
naturale, per capire basta ascoltare l'opener "Soul Burn...",
che a mio parere ricorda molto i maestri polacchi Vader. Questo
disco suona con molto feeling, a me è piaciuto tanto, soprattutto
"Fall Of The Shadows" e "Darkened Water Sky".
Occhio al nuovo album "Slaughtering Thoughts", in uscita
su Cudgel Agency.

Profanity is a German trio that plays a very technical and various brutal death metal, full of timechanges and good ideas. The songs are powerfl and fanciful, and they disclose an excelent technical level and the research of new solutions not moving away from death metal. One of the best quality of this record is the strong presence of melody, that's not oppressed by asphyxiat violence, but it often surfaces naturally. I fyou don't understand, listen to the 1st track "Soul Burn..." that reminds me the Polish masters Vader a lot. This record sounds with muchfeeling, I enjoyed it very much, especially "Fall Of The Shadows" and "Darkned Water Sky". Watch out for the upcoming new album "Slaughtering Thoughts" on Cudgel Agency! |
