L’hardcore band Urban Strip si formò a Smolensk, Russia, nella primavera 1992. Da quel momento la formazione del gruppo è cambiata varie volte ed ora gli Urban Strip sono:

Nell’autunno 1995 la band registrò il primo demo “DOG SONGS” che ricevette ottime recensioni da parte della stampa underground. Allo stesso tempo il gruppo ha suonato attivamente, prendendo parte al Thrash Metal Attack, allo Smolensk Project, al Thrash Tvoiu Mot (Thrash Your Mom) e ad altri festival. I brani di “DOG SONGS” vennero inclusi nelle compilation “Thrash Your Mom” - 3” (SOUZ rec., Russia) ed “Hardcore Lives” (France). Qualche video live di quel periodo fu incluso in “Necrozoophilic Video Compilation” prodotta da Rest In Peace Prod.

Nell’inverno 1997-1998 il gruppo registrò il suo secondo demo “Mental Home Blues”.
Nell’ottobre 1998 la band prese parte nel festival “Bandwatch ‘98” ad Hagen, in Germania.
In questo momento il gruppo combina suonare i concerti con la composizione di nuove canzoni per il loro terzo demo che è pianificato esca nell’autunno 2000.

In autumn 1995 the band recorded the first demo-album “DOG SONGS” which received many good reviews in underground press. At the same time the band play live actively, taking part in Thrash Metal Attack, Smolensk Project, Thrash Tvoyu Mat (Thrash Your Mom) and other festivals. The tracks from “DOG SONGS” were included in the compilations “Thrash Your Mom” - 3” (SOUZ rec., Russia) and “Hardcore Lives” (France). Some live videos of that period were released on “Necrozoophilic Video Compilation” produced by Rest In Peace Prod.

In winter 1997-1998 the band recorded and released the second demo-album “Mental Home Blues”.
In october 1998 the band took part in the festival “Bandwatch ‘98” in Hagen, Germany.
At present the band combines playing live with composing the new songs for the third demo which is planned to release in autumn 2000.
