Gli Ulcerrhoea si formarono nel 1998 con il nome di Carnal Shroud, ed erano un side project che suonava del death-grind\gore in vena a gruppi come Gut, Regurgitate che durò per tre demos ed una split tape, 1998\99. Dopo quelli cambiarono il nome in Ulcerrhoea, per molte ragioni, una per il saturo uso della parola "Carnal" nei monicker ed anche perchè non gli piaceva. Il successivo demo fu "Start To Infest", registrato nel gennaio 2000 e inizialmente pianificato come split tape con i maltesi Stench Of Necropsy e dopo qualche mese in cui non succedeva niente i S.O.N. chiesero di cancellarlo e diventò quarto demo... il seguente sforzo fu il promo tape 2000 fissato per l'agosto 2000 con 11 nuove canzoni da fare uscire in sotto qualche altro formato. Qui si può avvertire il cambiamento musicale e lirico\attitudinale nel più puro grindcore con testi politici\personali. Questo contiene anche le ultime canzoni in vena splatter, la maggior parte dovrebbero essere incluse in una imminente cassetta con i brasiliani Lymphatic Phiegm. Comunque, nel settembre 2000 lo split ep con i francesi Pulmonary Fibrosis fu registrato con sei tracce non gore, solo grindcore. E' uscito sotto PNP limitato a 500 copie ed esaurito in breve tempo, è disponibile anche su cassetta.

After those they changed the name into Ulcerrhoea, cuz of many reason, one being the over saturated use of "Carnal" by others and theirself and also it just sucked, alright? The next demo was "Start To Infest", recorded in January 2000 and actually planned as a split tape with Stench Of Necropsy from Malta and after ome months of nothing coming out they asked to cancel it and so it bacame the 4th demo... Next effort was their Promo tape 2000 fixed in August 2000 with 11 new tracks to be featured on some other shits. There you can see the change in both music and lyrics / attitude into more pure grindcore eith personal / political lyrics. This also had the last songs in the splatter vein, most are about to be featured on their upcoming split tape with Lymphatic Phlegm from Brazil. however, in September 2000 the soplitEP with French folks Pulmonary Fibrosis was recorded with 6 tracks of none being gore or shit, just grindcore.
