Il gruppo dei Suffocate esiste dal 1992. La stabilità dei cinque membri fu trovata dopo qualche cambio nell’anno 1993: Roland Màrk - basso ; Jàm Bertòk - batteria ; Gellèrt Pàsztor - voce ; Attila Pòcs - chitarra ; Zsolt Hölgye - chitarra. Il primo demo intitolato "Exhumed Suckling Consuming" fu registrato allo studio Exponent di Leopoldov nell’aprile del 1994. Il demotape contiene quattro compositioni e dura quasi venti minuti. Questo fu la prima esperienza del gruppo in uno studio di registrazione. Immediatamente dopo la registrazione del demo il chitarrista Attila Pòcs lasciò la band, ma tornò dopo una pausa di metà anno. Il secondo demo "Unborn Suffer" venne registrato ancora allo studio Exponent di Leopoldov nel novembre del 1995. Il demo contiene sei composizioni e dura venti minuti scarsi. Una delle composizioni, "Nothing Human" fu incisa sul CD "The best of Studio Exponent - Death Metal in Slovakia". Due composizioni  - "Imminence Of Death" e "Rotted Alive" - furono incise sul CD compilation "Horrible Fascination - Cold Taste Of Death" dall’etichetta slovacca Immortal Souls. Nell’autunno del 1996 Roland e Jaàn lasciarono il gruppo, il nuovo bassista si chiama Zoran Kocis. Hanno cercato un batterista fino al maggio del 1997, quando Erik Balogh entrò nella band. Il nuovo materiale intitolato "Exit 64" fu inciso nel marzo del 1998 su MC. Venne registrato allo studio Paladis Moonset di Sal’a. Il nuovo materiale uscì per l’etichetta underground slovacca Erebos productions. La cassetta contiene 9 composizioni e dura 34 minuti. Una delle canzoni "D.D.D." fu incisa sul CD compilation "Slovak Rock Camp. 98". La canzone "Body Work" fu inserita nel CD compilation "Obscene Extreme Festival I." nel luglio del 1999.  La cover del brano "Before The War" fu incisa sul CD "The Eastern Tribute to Helloween" nel luglio 1999. Il CD compilation uscì per il Fan Club Slovacco degli Helloween.

The group Suffocate is existing since the year 1992. The arrangement of five members was created after some changes in the year 1993: Roland Màrk - bass ; Jàn Bertòk - drums ; Gellèrt Pàsztor - singer; Attila Pòcs - guitar ; Zsolt Hölgye. The first demo with the title "Exhumed Suckling Consuming" we recorded in the studio Exponent in Leopoldov in April 1994. Democaset contained four compositions and lasted not the full twenty minutes. This was the first experience of our group at the recording studio. Immediatly after issuing of the democaset the guitar player Attila Pòcs left the group, but he came back after the break of half a year. Our secondo demo "Unborn Suffer" was recorded again at the studio Exponent in Leopoldov in November 1995. The democase is containing six compositions and is lasting not the full twenty minutes. One of our compositions - "Nothing Human" was issued on CD "The best of Studio Exponent - Death Metal in Slovakia". Two of our compositions - "Imminence Of Death" and "Rotted Alive" - were issued on compilation CD "Horrible Fascination - Cold Taste Of Death" by Slovakian label Immortal Souls.
