Dopo
vari concerti, i C.N. registrano nel 1998 inmini cd “Echoes From
A Divne Race”, indirizzandosi verso un brutal death metal
alquanto tecnico. I testi e la ragione di vita del gruppo ruotano
attorno ai Grandi Antichi del Necronomicon. Nel gennaio 2000, la
band viene inserita nella compilation-tape “Deep Sorrow Vol.
1” con il brano “Recrudesce”. |

Gli
Chthonian Nemeton sono stati fondati da Fabio Bava verso la fine
del 1992. Solamente tra il 1994 e il 1995 il gruppo comincia a
bilanciarsi con l’inserimento piů o meno stabile di tutti gli
elementi, nonostante saranno proprio questi frequenti cambi di
formazione a caratterizzare la stabilitŕ degli C.N. A
giugno del 1996, viene registrato “Now is Coming” il quale
contiene quattro canzoni e outro. La proposta č un classico death
metal/grind con influenze thrash metal supportato da tastiere. Il
demo viene discretamente recensito su ‘zines e riviste metal
specializzate, contribuendo alla diffusione del nome del gruppo.
Nell’aprile 1997, gli Chthonian Nemetonprendono parte allo Storm
Of Chaos, un festival tenutosi a Pisa per gruppi death metal e
black metal dell’undergrond italiano.

line up, but many troubles came from the frequent changes inside
of it. In the June of 1996, Chthonian nemeton recorded “now Is
Coming”, four songs and outro; proposing an old school death
metal / grind with thrash metal influences and keyboards
arrangements. The demo was fairly well reviewed by ‘zines and
magazines helping to spread the name of this outfit. In April
1997, Chthonian Nemeton took part as headliner at the Storm Of
Chaos festival that was held in Pisa, for combos of black metal
and death metal from the Italian underground. After many gigs,
C.N. released the mini CD “echoes From A Divine Race” at the
end of 1998, which led the band towards a more techical and brutal
death metal. The lyrics and the existence of C.N. are consecrated
to the Ancient Ones of the necronomicon. In January 2000, the band
appeared on the compilation-tape “Deep Sorrow Vol. 1” with the
song “Recrudesce”. In March was finally recorded at Temple Of
Noise produced by Christian Ice, the first album “Xul Of Lewd
Midian” as praie to Abdul Alhazred’s Al Azif.
