I Blood si formarono nel 1986 come fun noise band. In quel periodo registrarono 3 demo. Nel giugno 1987 Ventilator entrò nei Blood e le canzoni si fecero più strutturate e la musica più seria. Il 4°demo “Heinous Noise” fu registrato nell’ ottobre 1987, il 5°demo “Spasmo Paralytic Dreams” nel febbraio 1988 ed il 6°demo “No Regret” nell’agosto 1988. All’inizio del 1989 registrarono il primo disco con la label americana Wild Rags Rec. che pubblicò il loro debut LP “Impulse To Destroy” nel luglio 1989. Dopo un anno la Wild Rags fece uscire il loro primo EP “Recognize Yourself”. Dopo di chè si fermò la collaborazione con la label. Nel dicembre 1990 registrarono 5 nuovi brani, che uscirono in 2 diversi split EP (uno con gli Impetigo ed uno con gli Agathocles), entrambi autoprodotti. Nel 1992 si arrivò ad un accordo con la label tedesca 1MF Records per i successivi 2 album dei Blood. Il secondo album venne intitolato “Christbait” uscì nel giugno 1992 ed il terzo LP “O Agios Pethane” nel settembre 1993. Dopo queste release firmarono un contratto con la Morbid Records. Nell’agosto 1994 uscì lo split con i Dead Infection e la ristampa in cd del primo album. Un mese dopo venne registrato il quarto album “Mental Conflict” uscito nel dicembre 1994. Nel settembre 1995 registrarono un LP intitolato “Spittle Red Of Blood”. Nell’aprile\maggio 1996 registrarono il loro quinto album “Depraved Goddess” autoproducendosi. Nel maggio 1997 uscì lo split tra Blood e Mystic Circle. Nel dicembre lo split con gli Psycho (USA) uscì per la Ax\Tion, USA. L’ultima autoproduzione è lo split EP con gli Inhume, uscito nel maggio 1998. Dopo firmarono un contratto per la Ars Metalli per il 6°album “Gas Flames Bones” uscito nell’agosto del 1999. I piani per il 2000 sono 3 diversi split e la partecipazione ad un tributo agli Impetigo su cd per la Razorback (USA). Abbiamo suonato oltre 100 concerti con gruppi come: Dismember, Atrocity, Gorefest, Extreme Noise Terror, Holy Moses, Fear Of God, Messiah, Vader, Agathocles, Samael e tante altre bands nell’underground. I Blood sono una mistura di death metal e grindcore.

At the beginning of 1989 they got out first record-deal with the US-label Wild Rags Records the release of their debut LP “Impulse To Destroy”was in july 1989. One year later Wild Rags released our first EP, “Recognize Yourself”. After that we finished our cooperation with label. In dec. 1990 they recorded 5 new songs that were released in two different split Eps (one with Impetigo, one with Agathocles), those Eps were self released. In 1992 they go another record deal with the German label 1MF records for the next 2 Blood albums. The second albums was called “Christbait” released in june 1992 and the 3rd LP “O Agios Pethane” released in sep. 1993. After that release they signed a deal with Morbid Records. In aug. 1994 they’ve done their split EP with Dead Infection and rerelease the 1st LP on CD. One month later they recorded their 4th album “Mental Conflict” released in dec. 1994. In sep. 1995 they’ve done another EP called “Spittle Red Of Blood”. In april\may 1996 they recorded a self release (called “Depraved Goddess”) . The newest release is the split EP Blood\Mystic Circle out since may 97. In dec. 1997 the split EP with Psycho (USA) Is released on Ax\Tion (USA). The latest self release was the Blood \ Inhume split EP which is released isince may 1998. After that, Blood signed a contract at Ars Metalli for the 6th album called “Gas Flames Bones” released in august 1999. For 2000 they plan to do 3 different split EP and being part of an Impetigo tribute CD on Razorback (USA). We played over 100 live shows with bands as: Dismember, Atrocity, Gorefest, Extreme Noise Terror, Holy Moses, Fear Of God, Messiah, Vader, Agathocles, Samael and lots of other underground bands. Blood is a mixture of death metal and grindcore.
