The original one was altered after it was disclosed that Vasalunds IF had used four (maximum allowed three) none EC/EEC players on their lineup-sheet in 9 different games. Below are the 9 games with their original and altered results. Further below is the original table. (Within brackets I would like to say that it is strange that teams never learn. A few seasons ago, a team called FK Sumarice were promoted to division 2 (3rd level) but never bothered to find out exactly what rules were adopted at that level. The team in question consisted mainly of former Yugoslavia players which had no swedish citizenship. At third level and above only three players without swedish citizenship were allowed at the time. This dawned on the team just before the start of the campaign. Because of this they suffered defeat after defeat and were relegated and managed only 1 point the whole season. It is easy to blame the federation, but in the end it is up to the team to find out what rules are applied. In Sweden (and I am sure in most other countries) you cannot make the excuse that you did not know a thing was illegal and that way get away with it, it is your responsibility as a citizen (or a refugee or whatever) to learn the laws and rules.
