| Seating himself in the trees, he waited for the "hopeless one" to arrive. When he finally did, a triumphant grin spread across his face. Poor little Silvanus... they had all nicknamed the hopeless one because he tried so desperately hard to be like a hunter cat....and failed miserably. His hunting and stalking skills were poor for one. He had no idea that Loki was in the tree directly above him, just waiting for the moment to drop down. Loki supressed a chuckle. He watched as Silvanus sniffed around delicately, nose to the ground, little behind wiggling wildly. Ah ha! thought Loki. A bare behind! Now was his chance! He launched himself down from his tree, landing gracefully, and because Silvanus' reactions were so slow, still managed to get a playful swat at his backside in. At the swat, Silvanus swiveled quickly, clutching his behind with a paw. He glared at Loki, and plunked down on the ground with a resounding thump. "How did you find me?" he asked, voice somewhat annoyed. Loki smiled slyly and pointed at his behind. He gave him a fanged smiled, his tiny front incisors sticking out slightly. Maluvia chose that moment to hop out from behind a bush and attack Silvanus' behind yet again. He regarded them both with a sad stare. "Do you think I'll get better?" he asked. Loki smiled and nodded enthusiastically, and proceeded to leap off into the underbrush followed closely by Maluvia. Silvanus let out a hoot of joy and bounded after them. |
