Kali didn't earn her reputation as Lead Mare for nothing. She's a tough critter, willing to defend her pride and not willing to have her authority challenged by an inferior. She's bright, quick and intelligent, all of the characteristics that make her quite a good leader-not to mention a difficult one for any other Leagus to challenge.
She has many good qualities outside of her tough exterior. She is very protective of her Pri-Erd, and is willing to defend any one of them with her life if needs be. She's loyal to the extreme, especially when it comes to Osiris (although he get's rather irritated by this because he believes that he doesn't need any additional protection outside of his own).
She would make a good mother one day, for she possesses a certain nurturing side as well. She seems to enjoy tending to the weak and helping those less fortunate than herself.
She's an attention hog though. If she doesn't believe that she's getting the attention of the mare or stallion that she wants, she'll easily become aggressive towards that individual. She seems to like the limelight.
