| Hyleaos believed herself to be a Leagus. The high strung femme was a free spirit, and because of her equine heritage, believed that she belonged with the leagi in the fields that Talia had set aside for them. Her unicorn-like horn made her quite an attraction with the other whorlings, but she preferred to ignore them for the company of her larger leagus companions. She was never entirely welcomed with the leagus, who knew her for what she was, and would always look down upon her with considerable disdain. However, she persisted, and continually followed them around, despite the fact that Osiris chased her off on numerous occasions. Semele took pity on her and took her under her wing, and Hyleaos became something of a surrogate daughter. The shyer Leagus was unwilling to tell her the truth, unwilling to let her know that she was indeed a whorling and that she didn't belong with them. For now, she remains their shadow, trailing her "mother" and the rest of the Pri-Erd, not even having the slightest idea that she was frowned upon. Eventually, she'd realize her heritage. |
