Cephalia specialized in stalking and attacking and she knew it. You could tell just by looking at her even- those formidable fangs and mandible like apendages were enough to make the average Everrealm creature frightened.

She grinned slyly to herself. Today, she had decided to stalk the Leagus, knowing that some of them were particularily afraid of large cat like creatures.

Hiding in the brush, she focussed on her target, the mare with the lightning markings. Had Cephalia spent more time observing and analyzing, she would have realized that this was entirely the wrong target to choose, for the mare, Kali, was the lead mare of the Pri-Erd of the Dawning Eclipse, and was not a Leagus to be taken lightly, even if it was only meant in play.

Cephalia, however, thought that her target was a good one, for Kali, at this point in time, was demurely nibbling on some grass, completely content in her surroundings (for once, Vixen and Daz weren't causing trouble).

Cephalia decided to play a game before she lept out of her hiding spot. Snarling in the most ferocious manner that she could muster, she projected her voice out onto the plains. Kali's head jerked up in surprise, and she reared, fiercely angry that she had been caught unawares. Galloping around, she rounded up her Pri-Erd, Osiris at her side looking quite dangerous.

Cephalia instantly regretted her choice once she saw the Pri-Erd on full alert. She realized a bit too late that the particular Leagus that she had targeted was the first mare. She tried to creep backwards, but in her nervousness, stepped on some dry twigs. She looked up in shock as Kali's head twisted around in her direction, eyes narrowing to slits in anger. Cephalia was frozen in shock. Pawing at the ground, tearing up great chunks of dirt and grass, Kali launched herself, full gallop, at Cephalia.

Cephalia took off, but it was too late. Kali pinned her to the ground with her curved horns, the piercing tip dangerously close. Once she realized who her victim was however, she released her, but not before she delivered a resounding smack to Cephalia's backside with the side of a horn.

Cephalia feld in shame, and never to this day has she been seen near the Leagus, for fear of recieving another spanking from the lead mare.
