WON TONS
(Jeanne's recipe from June 6 meeting)
Filling for Won Tons
1/2 Lb Ground round
1/4 Lbs Raw shrimp minced
1/2 Cup Onion minced
1 Egg beaten
1 tsp. Soy sauce
4 Water chestnuts minced
1/2 tsp. Garlic salt
Purchase 1 pkg. won ton wrappers
Brown ground beef and then mix in all other ingredients thoroughly, Place about one rounded tsp. in a won ton wrapper, wet two sides and fold over to make triangle. Press sides tightly together. Pan fry in 1 inch hot oil turning frequently until golden brown. Let drain on paper towels. Can put in zip lock bag and freeze until ready to use, then warm for 15 min. at 350 on cookie sheet. Makes 60 I use a sweet and sour sauce to dip them in.
