| As you can tell from the title, we don't plan on losing the competition this year! We have an absolutely amazing team, which newcomer Josh Bosely taking the place of Joel Ridgway as the Color Guard Commander. However, we were lucky enough to keep most of last year's team. The cadets have studied like crazy, worked all weekend, every weekend in hopes of taking Charleston out of the competition this year. We managed to scored all new uniforms/equipment to lock in the inspection. Bosely has a great memory and command voice too. And it helps to study the 'team to beat' tapes! ;-) Anyhow, I'm proud to report that the team's goofing around has paid off! They took the competition by storm! Bosely pointed out that the more they goofed off the more I made them practice it, which only lead them to a vistory. The Travelling Trophy looks great in our squadron and we have begun training for the Middle East Region! Sorry Charleston, maybe next year? |
