The C & C Racing team is a Mid-Missouri Dirt Late Model Racing team that is setting their goals high and achieving them.  Having an auto body repairman, a mechanic, a parts man, a truck driver, a salesman, and an experienced driver aboard has made up an awesome team that is going to the top.

Their racing history began in 1991 at the State Fair Motor Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri.  For one racing season, Chad and the team cruised the #00 yellow chevelle around the half-mile dirt track every Friday night.  After collecting a few wins, the team knew that their sights would be higher for the following year.

In 1992, Chad went out to the State Fair Motor Speedway in the Super Stock [Limited Late Model Division] to win the first two races.  In 1993, the team won the track championship in addition to obtaining second in points at Central Missouri Speedway at Warrensburg, Missouri.  After a second points finish at State Fair Motor Speedway  in 1994, it was then that the team knew they had a great future ahead of them in racing.  The decision was made to advance to the Dirt Late Model Division.

Racing a 1994 Masterbilt, the team went on to finish in the top five points from 1995 to 1997.  "We needed experience in the late model division," states driver Chad Clark.  Crew chief, Robin Baker replied, "It was a whole new ball game!"  A near paralyzing wreck at Capital Speedway in Jefferson City, Missouri would not stop this team.  The determination of the group was stronger than ever.

The year of 1998 brought on a change in chassis manufactures, shifting to an American Made Dirt Late Model Race Car.  Again the team ended the season maintaining their position in the top five points, competing against cars in excess of $60,000.  In 1999, the team was showered with champagne as they celebrated the points championship at State Fair Motor Speedway in the Late Model Divison.

With this momentum, the C & C Racing Team went out on a full tour with the Midwest Late Model Racing Association [MLRA} winning the "2000 MLRA Rookie of the Year" title and earning an eigth place points finish.  This had resulted in coverage in several newspapers and racing magazines.  A television interview of Chad on Kansas City Metro Sports was another highlight of the season.

For the 2002 racing season, the crew can be found working long hours at Westside Collison preparing the GRT for an extensive race schedule.  If you are at the races, be sure to stop by and say hi.  Old, new, big or small ..........our fans are what gives the team inspiration.  All of us at Clark Racing want to thank you for all of your support, and thank God for America.  Until the green flag drops and the dirt flies......................................................
