The Knights of Pythias Hall was destroyed by fire on August 13, 1916 started from a spark blown from the roof of a steam roller that was working on old Harrison (now First) street, and before it was discovered, most of the roof was ablaze. On the back of the postcard is written "Rainier Ore. Aug 13th 1916, 5 P.M., K.P. Hall." (see note 1 below) |
