	Walt Brawand owned and operated the Ol' Pastime Tavern, the Rainier Mobil Station, and for almost 40 years Rainier Fuel Company. He was a member of the American Rose Society, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a 50 year member of Rainier Masonic Lodge #24. He passed away on August 9, 2011 at the of age 96.
