| MATH | Among other things we are
learning strategies for memorizing the math
facts. It would be a good idea to practice with the fact triangles a
few minutes each day. |
| READING | READING - Don't forget to keep
those @ home reading notes coming in. Children should be reading 5 or
more books /chapters per week. Students should be able to
comprehend what they read. They can demonstrate this by being able to
answer & ask questions and by putting story events in order for you. |
| SOCIAL STUDIES | We'll be studying Native Americans; their homes, customs and beliefs. |
| HOMEWORK | A Native American dwelling
project has been assigned. ![]() |

| CLASS TRIP | We’ll be going to Fairview Lake Camp & Conference center this month. We’ll be outside most of the day learning about Native Americans. (A permission slip & chaperone sign-up is on the November page. Please send the money & slips in all at the same time.) |
| NEED | I need one toilet paper
tube from each child. Thanks! |
| AUTHOR of the MONTH | We Louis Sachar
and all the wacky kids at Wayside School. |
| Class Party |
Thank you, Mrs. O'Brien and her
gang, for putting on a great Halloween party. Everything was
appropriate, and fun. We all really appreciate the effort. |
| Conferences |
I requested for everyone to come
to conferences this month. Even if your child is doing well it's a good
idea for us to talk. |
