WHAT'S UP?
PENMANSHIP- We're still working on the cursive alphabet. We'll be practicing writing & reading in script.
SCIENCE- We'll be taking a look at the animal group of birds.
SOCIAL STUDIES- In a few weeks we will start a unit on Map Skills & The States we live in. Students will have an opportunity to join The Young Explorer's Club.
READING- The @ home reading notes still need to be sent in. The way to become a better reader is by reading. Students should be reading with comprehension. Please use the checklists I gave you at conference.
A Book Report Homework Project is attached.
Thank you Mrs. O'Brien and room moms, the Christmas party was great! Everything was well planned and a lot of fun for the kids. The goody bags, food, story, games and crafts were all greatly appreciated.
Mrs. Hardiman and I thank everyone for the group gift, other gifts, cards, and letters of appreciation. We love working with your kids.
