The Museum of Indian Nations opened
its doors last week. We invited Mrs. Carbinaro’s first graders to share
in our expertise. Our exhibit was greatly enjoyed and our knowledge
envied by all. They then stayed for a pow-wow. We had popcorn,
juice, and Mrs. O’Brien & Mrs. Maizel provided a scrumptious fruit
platter. We helped the first graders make necklaces and do a rain
‘song’. Our emphasis was on making them have a great time. WE
WERE VERY SUCCESSFUL.

Don't Forget- At home reading
notes are still being recorded. Your child needs to read, at least 4
books/chapters per week. Thank you, moms who helped with
the Halloween party.
And thanks, parents, who were
able to go on the class trip.
A Me Box will be going home
with each child who volunteers. It's to fill with anything that
your child feels describes them. (pictures, small items, etc.) There is
a limit of ten items. & the items have to fit in the box. There is
only one box so it will take a while to get around.
Our arthur of the month is Jan
Brett. She's a good writer and fabulous illustrator.
