Welcome to the Clarion Taffurs R.F.C. website.  Come here for any information on the Taffurs.  New posts will be made daily.

About Clarion Taffurs:
The Taffurs are a rugby club that was established in 1994 by a bunch of hooligans,  such  as Brain Frank, Ken Delucia, and Curtis Bailey, just to name a few.  We are currently a member of the Allegheny Rugby Union, and are a Division II collegiate team.  We are sponsored by the local V.F.W. 2154 in Clarion, P.A.  We have approx. 33 members and are being coached by Lance Kohler who accquired his rugby knowledge on the mean fields of West Point.

As we prepare for our MidWest D1 pool for the fall, many Taffurs and former Taffurs are playing summer sevens.  Tim Smith is playing with Pitt City, good luck to Tim.  Steve Sikon, Rob Pica, Craig Hartle, and Brian Frank are playing with the Pittsburgh Harlequins, and good luck to alll of them.  Best wishes to Brent Baker who is starting a high school rugby club in Wilmington, Deleware.   To everyone from the spring 2002 team, three words, PAY YOUR DUES!!!
