| District Festival has come and gone. Preperations for state band festival and pops concert are underway. March 28th - Mr. James Sheckler, Novi's band director announced today that he will be resigning at the end of the year. Sheckler cited personal reasons as the reason for leaving. Strangly enough, it was the day before spring break two years ago when Scott Boerma, at that time director, announced that he was resigning.
