The earth shuddered as steam poured out of a volcano, ready to erupt. The molten lava from the last eruption had not even cooled yet. In the distance a boiling ball of gas edged over the horizon, igniting the earth's surface with brilliant colors. The roaring waves evaporated as another spurt of lava punched through the all but swallowed up opening on the rocky coastline.

A soft, mournful rain began to fall as the end of the beginning neared. It was almost as if the planet knew what was to befall it. Somewhere in the distance thunder rumbled and lightning flashed, covering up the approaching daylight. Water droplets sizzled on the cooling lava as a breeze began to kick up. The soft sprinkle turned into a hard splatter as the thunderstorm closed in.

Far away in another galaxy as our new star starts to bring life to earth another star shoots across the sky, destroying almost everything that once lived in it is surrounding universe. Almost everything. One single life form, stronger and deadlier than the rest, survives. In search of a new hunting ground, the life form sets its sights upon earth.
