Team 1492 Welcome to Team Caution, version 1492 (as in Columbus sailed the ocean blue). We are the community team of FRIST and are working toward competing in the 2005 Arizona Regionals and even possibly moving on to Nationals. We are a combination of Xavier girls, PCDS (Phoenix Country Day School) boys and mentors who are generous to give up their free time to help us. Right now, we are in the process of fundraising and learning new aspects of engineering. We hope to recruit and train new members of our team. While we appear to be a rookie team from our number, if you look at our history, you will see we've gone through much to obtain our current status and have a couple veteran members. We hope that our trials have subsided and we will continue with our current number for years to come. And being a community, we hope to bring in other students who's schools have no teams. We hope to do well in all of our events but most importantly have fun learning, so wish us good luck and we wish all other teams the same.
