Young Koreans United of U.S.A. (YKU) works to promote peace and democracy in Korea and social justice in the United States. YKU is a national Korean American grassroots organization founded in 1984 and has five chapters throughout major U.S. cities.

The mission of KIWA is to empower low wage immigrant workers and to develop a progressive constituency and leadership amongst low wage immigrant workers in Los Angeles that can join the struggle in solidarity with other underrepresented communities for social change and justice.

KYCC serves the recently immigrated and economically disadvantaged Korean American youth and families of greater Los Angeles and the multi-ethnic community of Koreatown.

Koream Journal is the online version of Koream magazine and has interesting articles and stories relating to Korean Americans.

The Asian Pacific Community Fund has a listing of organizations in Los Angeles such as the Korean American Family Services Center, the Korean American Coalition, and the Korean Youth and Community Center. Most of these organizations offer internships and volunteer opportunities. (www.apcf.org)
