We'd all been waiting in suspense for ages for this episode to be aired and when it had all finished we were left feeling a bit disapointed that it had ended so quickly and I feel that it was a good episode but not an amazing opening show. The show opened an ended on Pacey and Joey looking very loved up on 'True Love'. At the beginning Pacey and Joey even consider setting sail again back out of capeside and skiping the hassel and the question that everyone will ask, but they realise this isn't a good idea. Hand in hand they both dive into the ocean!
      Meanwhile Andie, Jack and Jen are catching some rays on the beach. Jen dares Andie to go and chat up the two cute guys on the beach.
      At the Docks Pacey and Joey continue to be completely in love and as they unload their stuff they realise that it's the first time apart for 3 months. As they turn and walk their separate ways they suddenly turn and grab each other!
      While Dawson is at the hardware store he runs into Gretchen Witter, Paceys older sister. Jack wants to know who it is and Dawson replies a long story.
      Joey returns to the B&B to find that Bessie has rented out her room till Tuesday. Joey find out that the B&B has become very successful while she is away.
      At the beach Jen finds Andie talking to the two guys. Andie introduces them as two Frenchies on vacation. Andie decides to give them the grand tour of Capeside.
      Meanwhile back at Doug Witters Pacey is moving back in when he finds out he has lost his room to his sister Gretchen. As she walks in Pacey attacks her with a hug! Joey arrives at Dawson's house and lets herself in and finds the house empty, she walks into Dawson's room and finds his wall covered in framed pictures of his friends from that summer, none of which include Pacey and Joey.
      We see Jen and Joey chatting which is a rare site, and they are chatting about the past 3 months on the boat and the question is asked. Joey goes into great detail about what every one thinks happened on the boat and with that Jen drops the subject. This is typical Joey sarcasim at it's best!
      Pacey and Joey go to the dive-in theater that they had been invited to and Joey asks Pacey if she can speak to Dawson on her own, Pacey wanders off. As Dawson see's Joey coming over he runs to another boat to hide. Eventually they share some mildly akward conversation and go their separate ways.
      Andie realises that the two cute guys were playing a joke on her when one of them accidenlty speaks English. Embarresed she says her goodbyes and walks away! Pacey and Joey have an arguement over Dawson . Joey goes to find Dawson to sort things out.
      When Joey and Dawson arrive at the B&B Joey give Dawson a present (a Brick from Ernest Hemmingways home) it's meant to be symbolic of re-building their friendship. But Dawson isn't sure if he wants to re-build anything yet.
      At the Dock Pacey sits aboard True Love as Joey turns up. She wants to explain something to him. She explains that Dawson has been on her mind but because he was her friend and not her lover. And although her mind was else where her heart never left the boat. Pacey gives in and they kiss and make-up! Joey cheekly asks if they can do that thing they do some times which leaves us guessing if anything did happen on that boat. Cut to Joey and Pacey led in their hamocks holding hands and reading to each other! The End!!!!
