Monday, 6th August 2001 I had to present a paper at an International Conference in Melbourne, so my appointment to dr. Garrity has been rescheduled to 6 weeks oafter my last appointment instead of 4. Told dr. Garrity that I experienced some bleeding when I was in Melbourne. Luckily, everything goes as normal again.
Wednesday, 15th August 2001 A blood check up again! This time it's for blood sugar level and for my haemoglobin. The results are fantastic.
Monday 3rd September 2001 Another ante-natal visit to dr. Garrity. The baby is lying on a breech position, but otherwise everything is all right. I've gained 8 kgs so far, and my ankles are starting to swallow a bit. My next visit will be in 3 weeks instead of 4. Then, I would have to come every 2 weeks.
Monday 10th September 2001 I feel so big now. I also get tired so easily, but won't sit still! I just have to move around and do things! I even found myself cleaning the ceiling at 2 a.m in the morning! Night sleeps have become more uncomfortable by days.
Monday, 24th September 2001 The regular visit to dr. Garrity. All goes well. I am scheduled for another ultrasound when I am 34 weeks to locate the position of my placenta. Saturday, 13th October 2001 Another ultrasound! My placenta is now well away from the cervix, which means I don't have to undergo a caesarian. But still they can't see whether I'm having a boy or a girl! Looks like the baby wants to surpirse us!
Monday 15th October 2001 My visit to dr. Garrity. We're both happy that all goes right so far. Hopefully it is so till the birth of the baby and beyond. From now on I have to visit dr. Garrity weekly.
