A school is just a grouping of buildings, where people gather and learn together.. blah blah blah... oh but how I loved IU!!  I simply HAVE to go there now.  It was such an experience this past weekend.  Yeah it was helluva cold, and I was cranky once I got there... and my parents bickered like little children whose lollipops have been denied them, but the longer I spent on that freezing sunless campus the more I loved it.  The people I met were nice, cordial, and interesting.  I passed by rooms in which people played so intently.  and there was a steinway in my warmup room.. haha... I loved the limestone adorning all the buildings (but for two).. the gothic archways accompaning romanesque hallways.  The architecture was such a hodgepodge assortment, but the sloppy art historian in my took it all in as pleasing.  =\  heh.. anyway.. I loved it, I loved it, I loved it... even the rudeness of one of the horn professors during my audition made me happy.  I met some nice people from all over... a brooding Long Island trumpet player, a string bassist in the honors college who rooms with a fellow hornist... a horn player from Albequerque who showed up at my every turn... it was so great... I'm in an elated state!  =P  I'm still a little behind on  a few things.. I'm going to clamor like hell tomorrow to get this music history project done... oh gosh... why am I writing here??!  Bah.. heh.. I'll get it done.. and it will be interesting and good and mushy... and... musically historical.  Hah... ok enough with the cheese and fiendly word games.  Sorry to bolt with so little substance but now I'm going to tweak a few other pages.  Have a great day and so on and so forth!  Adieu!
