Total effect

     I have just finish reading your book called" The Color of Water". I have learned that judging people that are not like me is a way of showing racism. You have help to inspire many people to change the way they see life. The total effect created in the works of literature can be the way people speak about themselves.

     Most people hate one another because of the way they are made out to be. Impact is word that describes the total effects. It shows how much influenced is made by making the people around the world today make new decisions. The impact for me helps me set new rules for myself. It explains how challenging life really is based on the way you make it. It really doesn't upset me to read about these things. Its more interesting because there's limits to everything that has to be done.

   Literary elements also help contribute to the creation of the impact by discussion how each element supports and relates to the dominant elements. In the story Ruth was going to have a kid. She did not want because she believed it was a mistake. So when she went to new York she had an abortion. This is an example because it show that nature is all around us.

  After reading this book you may have shown certain people how to act and how to treat others with respect no matter how they look by the color of there skin, race or religion, we should all gain respect in the same way. Mr. McBride you should write books like these more often, to show those a lesson because life is something that can never be completed unless you put the effort to make challenges.
