According to Rose troy always tells stories that are lies and fictional.
Why does he tell these stories?
Troy tells these stories basically to get attention.

This tells us that Troy is use to attention all on him and will do anything to get it.
How does Troy describe (death?)
Troy describes death as apart of life, and he doesn't mind the conversation about death because he's not scared of it.
What does he mean by a fastball on the outside corner?
He means that this is a strike..
When did Troy meet death?
Troy met death when he almost died by having a heart attack.
Why does he describe death as a person?
He does this because death is all around and lives a life as well.
How does he confront him (death)?
He confronts him as any other human, nit fearful but curious.
Why does Troy tell this magnificently exaggerated story about death?
To get Rose mad and get attention with Bono.
How does Troy believe he must deal with death?
He must deal with death calmly as id it was a part of life.
How are Troy's descriptions of death and the devil similar to mythology?
It's similar because no one real knows why death happens or knows the devil it's considered to be a myth in his eyes.
