Chris doesn't want to take over the company, he feels like he has taken advantage because he is here making the money when the others who went to war with him hasn't returned, he feels as though he shouldn't be doing this that he should go away with Ann to New York and make something else of himself. His feeling can be Justified because he makes a prefect point on not wanting to keep his father's company. This reveals that Chris is a very nice person and he has a heart about not being to sure about him getting out of the war and his friends are still there including his brother Larry.

Mr. Keller Is nervous because Georgie Ann's Brother is coming and he has news to tell them about Ann's Father.

They are kind of Like boding because they both like Ann, and if Mr. Keller helps Chris tell his mother about him and Ann wanting to get marry then Chris will stay and take care of his father's company.
