This is the site for WishLists for the Wilkins Family. Check out our Important Dates to see when you have an excuse to give stuff (of course, you can always give "just 'cuz", but sometimes dates help...) 2001 12/23 At the last minute, we update the wishlist! OK, still only the video-game section -- we'll work on the rest of it, we PROMISE! 2001 04/21 With my birthday closing rapidly, I've engaged in a flurry of updates to the site. Mainly, these changes have been in the works since we upgraded to Office2000 -- because simple cut/paste between Excel and FrontPage stopped carrying the formatting consistently. Now, you should see spreadsheet-like objects on each page. If they do not look right, or are too large (not visible at your resolution), let me know -- there are limitations even in this, and my choice is to either let it pick the size (which it does incorrectly 9/10ths of the time), or pick the size that looks right not me (at 1280x1024)... Note that it looks like Express.com is going out of business (although they claim they're upgrading, they show no new "to-be-released" items, and claim they will not be getting new stock on out-of-stock items); all of the items on the video/dvd page were in Express orders, so are now "up-for-grabs"... oh, well! More importantly, note that this is the 1-year anniversary of this wishlist's existence! Yawn... 2000 12/13 OK, I've updated the WishList for Christmas. One day, I'll get Lillie and the Girls to do the same; mean-while, if you look in the Video Games list, you'll see more listed for people other than me... 2000 05/27 After the source for the site was unavailable for several weeks (and I was out of town 4 weeks straight to boot), I have finally had a chance to update the site. Note that (ever industrious) Lillie has started the Books and Garage Kits pages -- take a look! 2000 04/28 As life and Murphy would have it, we have found a new reason to enumerate our list in such detail. On of the list-consumers observed that I >have< the Criterion Collection edition of Brazil, something he'd been waiting for a long time to get, and had appearantly missed. He tells me that he went right out after reading the list, and bought it for himself. See there -- we've helped someone! Oh, almost forgot: I added "last modified" 'bots to each list so you can know for sure how recent the update is. Am I AR or what? One last thing for today: there's always a good reason coming up to give stuff to people; our time-clock of upcoming dates is now linked from the top of this page. 2000 04/17 Yes, it may seem pretentious to provide detailed lists of the things I, or we, want. However, since we've purchased duplicate things ourselves, we cannot expect everyone we know to know what we have and want without providing the list somehow, right? This is by no means a solicitation for anyone to go out and buy everything that I, or we, want. If that's what you want to do, I will not stop you (I'll send you the mailing address!). However, if you see a little gem that happens to be on this list and is not green, you're as sure as the last update of this site that I, or we, do not already have it. Thanks, and have fun...
